The Northern Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce (NVBCC) delivers resources, initiatives, and educational avenues to help Black-owned enterprises to flourish in Northern Virginia. Reingold partnered with the NVBCC to convey its mission and increase audience engagement through a new brand and enhanced website.
At the heart of the rebrand is a new logo that incorporates the Bese Saka, an Adrinka symbol used in West Africa, where the majority of Africans enslaved in Virginia were captured. It represents the affluence, power, abundance, plenty, togetherness, and unity that the NVBCC promotes.
Reingold featured the logo on a new website with a new Webflow content management system. This cost-effective solution provided a custom design and advanced features and capabilities without a “custom-build” price tag — and makes it easy to update and maintain content well into the future. The re-platforming included integration with the NVBCC’s existing association management software to retain all membership and event data.
The new NVBCC website has an updated look and enhanced user experience. We simplified and restricted its global navigation and improved the content hierarchy to meet the distinct needs of chamber members, sponsors, and community partners. The site is also mobile-friendly, ensuring a consistent experience across all devices.
Besides the technical improvements, we gave NVBCC an updated look and friendly user experience. We simplified and restricted their global navigation and improved their content hierarchy to support their key goals: Expanding their pool of chamber members, sponsors, and community partners.
Last but not least, the site fully responsive (i.e. mobile-friendly), ensuring a consistent experience across all devices.
The appealing brand and site design are meeting the NVBCC’s primary goal: to expand the pool of members, sponsors, and community partners who connect with its resources and services.
