During the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs issued national guidance limiting in-person services and adjusting facility protocols to protect Veterans and VA staff from risk of infection.
The Birmingham VA Health Care System (BVAHCS) in Alabama needed a way to communicate its updated safety measures to the local Veteran audience — that by following the guidelines, Veterans could help keep their friends and family members safe.
Reingold started by creating a unique illustrated look to make the Moving Forward campaign materials easy to read and understand.
This new Moving Forward brand identity for BVAHCS included a toolkit of signage, banners, and graphics that clearly conveyed the new safety measures and guidance.
Reingold helped BVAHCS reach more than 68,000 Veterans.
Social media graphics deliver a message of selflessness and safety.
Targeted messaging, environmental signage, and reusable assets wrapped in a personalized brand identity.
Reingold provided BVAHCS with packaged design assets and templates for the BVAHCS team to independently create additional materials. BVAHCS used the communications pieces and designs on its website and in social media posts, in a public service announcement featuring the facility director, and in presentations by BVAHCS leadership.
Reingold gave BVAHCS the tools to adapt during the pandemic — helping keep Veterans and VA staff safe.
