Montgomery County Department of Economic Development/MontgomeryWorks

Client
The Montgomery County (Maryland) Department of Economic Development (DED) advances economic growth and prosperity throughout the county by providing business services and networking opportunities.

Challenge
DED needed an action plan to deliver targeted, effective messages to encourage small business partners and new job seekers to use the services of MontgomeryWorks, the county's one-stop workforce development system.

Enter Reingold
After researching and crafting a new brand and messaging, Reingold integrated these elements into a new MontgomeryWorks website that we designed, wrote, and launched. We created an audience-driven navigation system that is simple to use and allows the two main audiences—job seekers and employers—to quickly find the pages most important to them. Job seekers can search job listings updated daily through the Maryland Workforce Exchange; view monthly calendars for workshops, training, and recruitment events; and learn more about MontgomeryWorks programs. The MontgomeryWorks website also integrates all of DED's resources to provide a more complete resource for employers.
