The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) is the largest plastic surgery specialty organization in the world, composed of more than 6,000 board-certified plastic surgeons. With Reingold's strategic and creative guidance, ASPS is bringing its good work—and the societal benefits of plastic surgery—into the mainstream.

Challenge
Reingold has successfully re-branded ASPS and created public education videos, brochures, publications, and print and online advertising to inform prospective patients about safe cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures and the critical importance of choosing a board-certified plastic surgeon. To complement this outreach, ASPS sought an appealing informational piece to help patients consider their options and prepare for a medical consultation—right in their plastic surgeon's waiting room.

Enter Reingold
Reingold created a whole suite of materials to educate plastic surgery consumers and motivate them to do their homework before choosing a procedure or surgeon. From brochures and information cards to DVDs—and even the world's first magazine devoted entirely to plastic surgery. The magazine includes profiles of real patients, interviews with plastic surgeons, features on cosmetic procedures, quizzes, crossword puzzles, and Q&A features. The design appeals to our audiences through engaging layout, colorful photography, and intriguing quotes and callouts, making the stories more interesting and fun to read.

Results
P.S. Magazine is a hit with plastic surgeons and patients alike. It shares valuable information in an entertaining format that helps patients get the most benefit from their time in a plastic surgeon's office.
