The Organic Center's leaders are spearheading the campaign for food safety, disease prevention, and environmental protection. The Center generates, collects, and disseminates evidence-based research that educates and equips consumers to make informed decisions about the foods they eat and products they buy.
Challenge
Pesticides. Antibiotics. Growth Hormones. Even seemingly "good for you" fresh fruits and vegetables are loaded with chemicals and substances you can't see. How do we generate consumer demand for healthy foods and health promoting products? The Organic Center aimed to create a big change in consumer behavior, and a revolution in the ways we protect our environment.
Enter Reingold
Reingold facilitated a strategic planning retreat for the Organic Center's board of directors that gave birth to a dynamic marketing campaign—Mission Organic 2010—to mobilize both industry and consumer support for the organic movement. Then we crafted colorful, compelling branding and campaign materials that drove the Center's messages home.
Results
With new campaign materials, The Organic Center drew more than $500,000 of industry support—in one night! The new campaign became the buzz of the
organic world and raised an additional $1.5 million in industry support while spurring increased sales and production of organic products.
